Global issues affect the entire planet, but some nations are affected more directly than others.
In order to gain a more thorough understanding of the issue being explored in your novel, conduct some background research to create a "National Profile" of the country in which your novel takes place. This profile will be used to inform future GINS posts, and must be housed in a GoogleDoc.
Your profile should include information that you think is relevant to understanding the issue. This may include things like the total number of women in the nation, compared to the number in school full time, for example. It may also be relevant to consider the nations economic system, relation with other nations, political system, etc.
